The Impact of Hospital Accreditation on the Quality of Healthcare Services

Hospital accreditation is an assessment process that aims to evaluate the conformity of health services with established standards to systematically improve the quality of service and patient safety. To analyze hospital accreditation on the quality of health services. Systematic Literature Review Following the PRISMA guidelines, a systematic literature search was conducted in the PubMed and Scopus databases. The search strategy (“hospital accreditation” OR “healthcare accreditation” OR accreditation) AND (“quality of care” OR “healthcare quality” OR “service quality” OR “patient safety” OR “clinical outcomes”) was limited to articles published in 2021–2026. Accreditation House Sick in a way general contribute positive to improvement quality service health, especially in the aspect of safety patients, standardization service and strengthening system management. However, the findings were not consistent show that effectiveness accreditation is highly dependent on quality implementation at the level organization, as well as not yet capable increase all over dimensions culture safety patient in a way evenly. Therefore that, is necessary commitment sustainable, strengthening implementation, as well as further evaluation strict for accreditation can give optimal impact on quality service and satisfaction patient. Accreditation is more effective as a regulatory and managerial framework than as a direct guarantee of improved service quality if it is not implemented substantively. The success of accreditation depends heavily on organizational commitment, integration into daily service practices, and the implementation of continuous evaluation and improvement.
